An epic adventure begins when a massive sinkhole opens in the middle of Los Angeles, pulling hundreds of people and buildings into its depths. Set in the Mojave Desert, the film follows a broken-down comedian playing clubs across the Southwest, working his way to Los Angeles to meet his estranged daughter.

A Native American teen resurrects an ancient demon to protect his family from meth dealers, but finds the creature's bloodlust uncontrollable, forcing the family to break the curse before becoming its next victims.
