Families, friends, enemies and lovers experience life-changing events in the large upstate New York city of Port Charles, which has a busy hospital, upscale hotel, cozy diner and dangerous waterfront frequented by the criminal underworld.

One day Nino Sorrentino appears at the winery, an old friend of the landowner Matteo DeCanin. But Nino is more than a companion from Matteo's childhood days. He is part of Matteo's dark past, which took its fateful course in Naples. At the same time, a bad incident shook the idyllic life in the area: At night, a young woman was hit by a car on a mountain pass. Carabinieri Adrin Erlacher immediately takes over the investigation. Department head Christina Melauer wants to put the case aside, but the evidence piles up for the Carabinieri - especially when he finds the wine label for a 3000 euro wine among the evidence. The honest law enforcement officer investigates on his own. Winemaker Matteo is also the focus of his investigations.

The two actors, who lived their whole lives in the city, experience life in the small town and blend into the neighborhood.

Muodin huipulle is Finland's version of the American reality television series Project Runway. The show started airing on Finland's MTV3 on 1 October 2009 at 20.00. In addition, Muodin huipulle Extra started airing on MTV3's daughter channel Sub on 24 September at 21.00. Season one was hosted by fashion designer and entrepreneur Minna Cheung in Heidi Klum's role and fashion editor and host Jaakko Selin filled Tim Gunn's role as fashion mentor. Season two's host will be model Nora Vilva and mentor will be designer Janne Renvall. Janne Kataja, who is well known for working on MTV3 and subprograms, hosted Muodin huipulle Extra. The season one winner, Katri Niskanen received a one-year contract with Spalt PR, one year cooperation with L'Oreal Paris hair and makeup, and a Bernina Sewing Machine worth €6,000. In addition to this, the winner's collection was featured in the February 2010 issue of Finnish fashion magazine Olivia.
